Sales Team Assistant
Jamestown, NY · Full Time · Pay Range: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
This is an entry-level support role for someone who enjoys helping customers and keeping sales workflows organized. You will assist the sales team with various tasks, greet walk-in customers, answer and direct phone calls, and make sure basic requests get handled or handed off correctly.
Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team with order support, follow-up tasks, and day-to-day administrative work.
- Greet walk-in customers and help with basic questions or direct them to the right team member.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and route inquiries to the appropriate person.
- Help keep customer details, quotes, and order notes organized and accurate.
- Support front-of-house coverage so sales and service stay responsive during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional communication with customers in person and on the phone.
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable handling multiple small tasks throughout the day.
- Basic computer and office skills; willingness to learn internal systems.
- Ability to listen carefully and escalate or redirect requests when needed.
- Retail, office, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
