In this role, you will be the driving force behind producing vibrant signage and graphics using our large format printing equipment, and ensuring our clients' visions come to life. Responsibilities:
- Large Format Printing: Operate large format printers to produce high-quality graphics, banners, signs, and other large-scale visual materials.
- Flatbed Printing: Manage and run flatbed printers for direct printing onto rigid substrates, ensuring quality output.
- CNC Cutting: Operate CNC cutters to accurately cut and finish printed materials to desired shapes and sizes.
- Laser Engraving: Utilize laser engravers to add intricate details and customization to various materials.
- Sign Making: Vinyl cutting, weeding, and application, as well as assembling and installing signs.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper storage and handling of materials and equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Continuously learn and develop new skills to enhance your proficiency and contribute to the overall efficiency of the production operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in large format printing and sign making is preferred, or related fields is preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to learn and train on the job is essential.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with design software are advantageous but not required.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy objects.
- Ability to use a ruler.
- Familiarity with working with measurements in fractions, decimals, and metric units.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
