Apparel Decoration Specialist

Pay Range: $30,000 - $90,000

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the customization of apparel and promotional products, including but not limited to embroidery, heat press applications, operating production printers, and preparing digital files for production. Responsibilities:
- Embroidery: Operate embroidery machines to create high-quality custom designs on various apparel items.
- Heat Press Applications: Apply graphics and designs using heat presses and other appropriate equipment, ensuring precise placement and quality adherence.
- Production Printing: Run and maintain production printers to transfer graphics onto apparel and promotional products.
- File Preparation: Prepare digital design files for production, including resizing, color adjustments, and ensuring proper file formats.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments to meet customer specifications.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of apparel and decoration materials, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and clients to understand design requirements and provide creative input when necessary.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance on decoration equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to Safety: Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Training: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in apparel decoration techniques.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in apparel decoration, embroidery, or heat press operations is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with design software are advantageous but not required.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to use a ruler.
- Familiarity with working with measurements in fractions, decimals, and metric units.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
